RAJASTHAN SAFAI KARMCHARI RECRUITMENT 2026 AT A GLANCE
The Local Self Government Department, Rajasthan is hiring 24,752 contractual Safai Karmchari (sanitation workers) under Advertisement No. 01/2026, across 183 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). Applications opened on 15 August 2026. The deadline was extended from 28 September to 13 October and then to 28 October 2026. There is no exam: selection is by an online lottery.
WHO CAN APPLY
- Original resident of Rajasthan.
- No educational qualification is required.
- 1 year of sanitation work experience in any Urban Local Body of Rajasthan. It can be one continuous year or separate periods adding up to a year.
- The experience certificate must be in the prescribed format and issued on or after 1 August 2026, before the last date. Older certificates are not accepted. It comes from the ULB's Chief Municipal Officer or authorised officer, or from the contractor's authorised manager, countersigned as the notice requires.
- Age 21 to 40 years as on 1 January 2027.
